Protected against electrostatic charges
Electrostatic charges are a problem, especially in electronics manufacturing. The KR AGILUS has ESD protection even in the standard version. Thus, it is optimally protected against charging. KR AGILUS: hygiene machine variant
The KR AGILUS is available as a hygiene machine. The design and materials used in this version are absolutely hygienic. This allows it to be used in applications involving direct contact with food and pharmaceuticals.

Corrosion-resistant surfaces, food-grade lubricants and stainless steel parts ensure the highest levels of hygiene. Thus, the KR AGILUS is ideal for applications requiring a sterile environment.

KR AGILUS: option for clean rooms
The AGILUS CR KP is suitable for use in clean rooms and meets the ISO2 clean room requirements. In this way, the KR AGILUS CR can be ideally integrated into the smallest rooms and complex applications with high cleanliness requirements.

Thanks to a special powder coating and special seals to prevent the release of solid particles, the cleanroom robot has extremely smooth surfaces. By preventing particles from entering the air, the robot does not generate dust or particles caused by abrasion of the seal. It therefore meets the strict cleanroom criteria of the Fraunhofer Institute.

KR AGILUS: waterproof version
In the Waterproof version, the AGILUS KRs are splash-proof from all directions and achieve maximum performance even in the event of extreme external production conditions. Stable stainless steel covers have replaced plastic parts, and the durable surface treatment and additional seals inside the small robot allow it to be used, for example, in machine tool environments.

The waterproof version of the small KUKA robot meets the higher protection class IP67. KR AGILUS: EX variant
The KR AGILUS can be adapted even to the most extreme environmental conditions: with the KR AGILUS EX we have added explosion protection to the waterproof version. Thanks to this design, the KR AGILUS can operate with maximum precision in explosive atmospheres (zone 2).

The EX version uses a straight air purge and the robot is pressurized. The pressure is monitored using a special external overpressure detector, which is available as an option from KUKA. Suitable for these applications
