RoboCar® MV2 is based on "COMS", an ultra-compact electric vehicle manufactured by Toyota Auto Body. It is an experimental ultra-compact electric vehicle that can control the steering, accelerator and brakes from a computer.
A library is available that can control vehicle speed, brakes, steering wheel operations, etc., so users can explore and develop applications such as obstacle avoidance, autonomous driving and remote control without hindrance.
It is used for the research and development of driving support and preventive safety technologies, and for evaluating proprietary products and technologies in research institutions such as car and parts manufacturers, as well as universities.
