The RoboCar® SUV is based on a commercial off-road vehicle and is equipped with a vehicle autonomous driving device (vehicle) incorporating a ZMP control device so that the user can drive with a control signal from an external device (PC or dedicated device).
The package includes the main body and development environment.
The RoboCar® SUV is based on SUVs not available in the previous range, while retaining the features of the traditional RoboCar® range. Like the RoboCar® HV / PHV / MiniVan, the RoboCar® SUV can receive information from the sensors installed in the base vehicle through the on-board CAN network (control zone network), as well as using its own ZMP controller, accelerator, brake and also it can control the steering management.
Typically, a vehicle controlled by a driver (pressing the accelerator pedal and braking, turning the steering control) can be controlled from a user's computer or a special device. It can be used as a platform for the development and verification of sensors and software on the vehicle in the development and maintenance of automated driving and ADAS (Advanced Driving Support System).
RoboCar® SUV can receive values (CAN information such as vehicle speed, 4-wheel speed, steering wheel angle, etc.) from sensors, etc. that are standard on the vehicle, and can receive data from the on-board CAN (Control Area Network) network from a PC and other external devices. It is possible to control the vehicle by inputting work signals such as accelerator, brake, steering, etc. In addition, API and sample applications for data entry and work signal input are also provided as standards, so we provide it as a platform that can create a vehicle control program immediately after implementation.
In addition, the driver can also drive the vehicle as before and also provides a “bypass function” in which control is transferred to the operator when the driver intervenes while the vehicle is being controlled by the computer.
IZAC® autonomous driving software platform
IZAC® is a software platform for autonomous driving. By connecting the sensor to a computer (PC) equipped with IZAC® and making it recognizable, it is possible to control each machine, making decisions and controlling it using the IZAC® control components. Using the control component developed by IZAC®, it is possible to work effectively autonomously and develop recognition algorithms.
Surround RoboVision 360° Surround Measurement
Optional with RoboVision®3 Surround View with up to 10 cameras, in addition to perimeter and object detection, improved controller redundancy, emergency braking, and commercialization of autonomous driving technology. As a development platform, it is also possible to respond to the customization of sensor functions and enhance safety aspects.
