CONTINUOUS ENERGY SOURCE

The river offers the best energy potential compared to other renewable energy sources. By providing reliable and constant energy 24 hours a day, the Idénergie river turbine can meet the electricity needs of a residential building, producing at a maximum capacity of up to 12 kWh per day.

The Idénergie river turbine is delivered unassembled, making it easy to transport to the most remote areas and easy on-site installation, which requires only two people and a few hours. Why stop at just one river turbine? Did you know that it is possible to install several river turbines in the same section of a river and connect them on the same shore battery to provide electricity to an enterprise with high energy needs, for example, a small isolated settlement with low energy consumption.

The Idénergie river turbine is equipped with a new type of electric generator designed and manufactured exclusively by Idénergie. Our unique patented shaftless technology prevents water from entering the electrical housing of the generator, making it 100% waterproof, making it an almost maintenance-free underwater generator. This limits the maintenance required to keep the turbine running smoothly and ensures a long product life. The Idénergie river turbine is equipped with a built-in intelligent converter that converts the energy obtained from the water stream into electricity. In addition, it gives the user better control by automatically adjusting the speed of the turbine, thus extracting maximum power from the current. In addition to converting river energy into electricity, the built-in smart converter includes many additional features including self-starting turbine, continuous power optimization, remote monitoring capabilities, emergency brake and more. Designed to operate even in shallow water depths of 2 feet (60 cm) and current speeds of 1 m / s or more, the river turbine is easily adaptable to your site's specific conditions. Free-hanging turbines, a simple and sleek exterior design, and a rotating mechanism all reduce the risk of debris accumulation. Did you know that one river turbine at maximum power generates as much energy as 12 solar panels!

Its energy production also represents an annual savings of 50% in maintenance costs compared to a gasoline generator. Taking into account numerous studies evaluating the interaction of turbines with ecosystems, Idénergie has developed its product to minimize the impact on aquatic life and its habitat. Research has shown that the Darrieus-type turbines used by Idénergie do not harm the river's ecosystem.

The turbine, mainly made from precious metals such as aluminum and other environmentally friendly components, is the most environmentally friendly renewable energy source available. These materials are environmentally friendly and easily recyclable, providing significant end-of-life value.

ENERGY PRODUCTION

The power generation process is as follows: the flow of the river allows the turbines to rotate, which drive the generator. The resulting energy is then converted into electricity thanks to the built-in smart converter.

After that, the converted energy is directed to the batteries through the electric cable. The batteries are charged 24 hours a day, and then the inverter converts DC (24-48 VDC) to AC (120 VAC) to power electrical devices.

The graph below shows the daily production capacity of a river turbine, which ranges from 4 to 12 kWh/day depending on the available water speed.

The energy production stored in the battery is expressed in kilowatt-hours per day (kWh/day).
